With over 20+ years in customer service, Christy’s Business Administration, Marketing, and Management Degrees provide foundational knowledge in strategic planning, resource management, and financial oversight, essential for overseeing the city's budget, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Christy’s extensive community involvement— shop steward, founder of East Bay United Against Hate, former PTA President, non-profit founder of the Lam-Julian Foundation, Rotarian, Interact advisor, current countywide Developmental Disabilities Council, current county Women and Girls Commission, Jordan - Huerta Fellow, and New American Leader alum —has shown her that while the system is flawed, advocacy work can drive meaningful change.
As a mom of a neurodivergent child, homeowner, and small business owner, Christy knows we need to make good choices for all of our community. Christy will advocate for empowering our community in governance spaces.
