Christy featured in The Philippine News

This Sunday, October 5th, Christy was featured in the official endorsements page of the Friends of the Filipino-American Community (FFAC) in The Philippine News TODAY, a long standing publication reporting on local Filipino-American politics, community milestones, and homeland updates.

The feature shows the support that Christy has from the Filipino-American community, and shows the importance of community organizations when it comes to local engagement in elections. Every endorsement represents another milestone in Christy’s campaign, and is more than just organizational support, but the opportunity to build relationships with locals, to hear out the concerns of our community members, and to ensure that community voices are heard across all groups.

Contra Costa’s Grand Jury Report Means Trouble for Pinole

In the Contra Costa Grand Jury Report in May of 2026, it highlighted a severe deficiency in Pinole’s budget, along with the heavy misusage of funds.
